ZagZero ("ZagZero," "we," "us," or "our") provides an AI-assisted career management platform for job candidates (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

• Account information: name, email address, and authentication details you provide when creating an account.
• Google account data: if you connect your Google account, we request limited permissions to (a) create draft email replies on your behalf (we never send email on your behalf without your action) and (b) read and manage calendar events for scheduling. We do not request or use read access to your email inbox.
• Virtual inbound address: we provide you with a unique email address you may choose to share with recruiters or forward correspondence to. Messages sent to this address, and their content, are processed to help you track and manage your job search.
• Content you submit: information you paste, upload, or forward to us, including recruiter correspondence, job details, and offer information.
• Usage data: information about how you interact with the Service, collected via standard analytics tools.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information described above to:

• Operate and improve the Service, including extracting and organizing information from correspondence you share with us, generating company and role summaries, scheduling interviews, and analyzing offers.
• Communicate with you about your account and the Service.
• Maintain the security and integrity of the Service.

3. Third-Party Service Providers

We work with third-party service providers to help us operate the Service, including providers that perform data processing, artificial intelligence, and research functions on our behalf — for example, to extract structured information from text you share with us, verify the accuracy of extracted information, or research publicly available company information.

We do not sell your personal information. Any third-party service provider that processes your data on our behalf does so only to provide the specific function requested — not to train or improve their own general-purpose models — and is contractually bound to comply with this Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law.

4. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us (see Section 8).

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share information with service providers as described in Section 3, or as required by law.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You may access, update, or delete your account information, disconnect any connected accounts, and stop using your virtual inbound address at any time. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under applicable law (e.g., access, correction, deletion, portability).
